Harry James Potter is an only child that lost both his parents when he was a baby to Voldemort. He is related to Voldemort and he could speak Parseltongue. Since Harry's parents are dead, he lives with his aunt Petunia and uncle Vernon, and their son, Dudley,  Harry is "the chosen one" which means something is always up ad he's involved. Harry gets involved in the Tri- Wizard tournament, and he wins. He comes into contact with Voldemort at that time, after being teleported when competing for the Goblet of Fire.
